meet coach brody

I’ve had the privilege of training with some of the top jiu jitsu competitors, coaches and professors from around the world. My journey began in 2018 in Vancouver where I trained under Brazilian world champions. After COVID, I returned to my hometown of Guelph where I was honoured to receive my purple belt from a Canadian jiu jitsu legend.

Shortly after, I launched my own fitness company, JBC Fitness, and began leading intro to jiu jitsu programs alongside boxing and group fitness classes. I also run seasonal jiu jitsu programs at the University of Guelph Athletic Centre.

I’m incredibly excited to step into the role of Head Coach at Achilles Jiu Jitsu. My goal is to inspire students of all ages and experience levels from complete beginners to seasoned competitors and grow a strong, supportive and welcoming jiu jitsu community.
